Andy and Zoe Clark-Coates

In 2007, Zoe and Andy suffered the loss of their first baby. It was a devastating experience, that was sadly followed by two more losses, prior to the birth or their first daughter in 2009. Tragically they went on to lose a further two babies, prior to the birth or their next daughter in 2011. Having walked through this traumatic period, the couple were not only shocked at the scale of baby loss in the UK and globally, but at the lack of support that existed.

In 2012, they decided that they would use their expertise as international event and marketing directors, to organise a national service of remembrance for anyone who had suffered baby loss, at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy. Zoe and Andy are both strong campaigners for support and change to current bereavement care, with Zoe co-chairing the Governments ‘National Pregnancy Loss’ review as well as being a best selling author of three books on baby loss, loss and grief and host of her own TV show ‘Soul Tears’, as well as being a regular commentator on regional and national radio and television, and writing for a range of papers and online platforms.

As a family, they split their time between the South West and Staffordshire, enjoying reading, travelling, beaches and quality family time.
