Baby loss is a local, regional, national and global issue. The effects of baby loss go way beyond the individuals involved, and affect entire communities. To meet this need, medical professionals, charities, hospitals and the Government are all working to reduce the number of losses each year, and improve the care and support of people who suffer baby loss.
The Mariposa Trust understands the importance of these working relationships and has been appointed a Stakeholder with the Department of Health, which means that the charity is involved from grassroots in the policies and decisions that are being considered, allowing it to put forward the views and needs of its users.
The charity is also in partnership with other baby loss research and advice organisations, to promote the advances and options available to people.
