Befrienders
Baby loss can be one of the most isolating experiences for people to go through. All of a sudden, a future of hopes and dreams ends, and people are left trying to understand what has happened, why it has happened to them, and fearful of an unknown future. The ability to speak to someone who knows from personal experience what it means to go through loss, can be an invaluable resource in supporting you, and helping you move forward with hope.
One of the support options available from Saying Goodbye is ‘Befrienders’. These are people who have been though baby loss, whether that be miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss or a loss in early years, sometimes once, sometimes multiple times. They understand the vast array of feelings and emotions that baby loss brings, and can offer friendship, advice and access to information and further support should it be required.
The charity’s support team will link you up with a befriender over social media, email or telephone.
