On Saturday the 25th of April 2026, the Mariposa Awards 2026 will take place at the Landmark Hotel in London, as part of the Mariposa Ball. The awards look to recognise the incredible work of bereavement and healthcare professionals from across the NHS and beyond, and the 2026 awards are now open for nominations.
Did You Receive Compassionate Care During Baby Loss? Nominate a Caregiver for a Mariposa Award
Experiencing baby loss is one of the hardest journeys a person can go through. In those moments of grief, the kindness, compassion, and support of healthcare providers can make a profound difference. If you received exceptional care—whether from a midwife, nurse, doctor, or an entire team—this is your chance to show your appreciation.
The Mariposa Award recognises individuals and teams who go above and beyond in providing sensitive, empathetic care to families facing loss. By nominating someone, you not only honour their dedication but also help ensure that compassionate care continues to be a priority for others who will walk this difficult path.
If someone helped you feel heard, comforted and supported when you needed it most, take a moment to say thank you in a meaningful way. Nominate them for a Mariposa Award today.
We are looking for nominations for a variety of categories, and must state, that the winner of each category is not based on the most nominations, but on the quality of the nominations a person receives, so please try to use the full 800 words to give a compelling reason for why your nominee should win.

The awards will take place at the charity’s flagship ball in April 2026, with shortlisted finalists attending on the night, to see who will be this year’s winners. (www.mariposaball.org)
